Juanacate classroom

It took three years, but Project Honduras has finally been able to build this classroom in the community of Juanacate, located 45 minutes outside the capital city of Tegucigalpa. Juanacate is a rural farming community where most families live on approximately $1 a day, making access to educational resources especially challenging.

We are thrilled that this new building will serve as the kindergarten classroom for this wonderful school, which we have proudly supported for the past four years. This is an exciting milestone for the students, teachers, and community, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on future generations. None of this would have been possible without the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners who share our commitment to expanding educational opportunities for children in underserved communities.
