Mission Trip 2026Praying for Noel
This was our last full day in Tegucigalpa. We put on a medical/dental brigade for our brothers and sisters in the Tegucigalpa church. Everything went well. I didn’t take many pictures of the medical/dental brigade, but I mainly took pictures of special fellowship opportunities that we had. George got to reconnect with Jorge, whom he met four years ago, which was special. I got to reconnect with Arianna. She now lives in San Pedro Sula, but she was in town for the day and stopped by – I love this woman. She has such a wonderful smile and positive personality. I miss her being part of the PH trips. I also got special time to connect with Sofia Chavez, Andrea’s sister (Comayagua). It was only 30-40 minutes together, but got a great time to deeply share our hearts about what God is doing in our lives. So grateful for this time with this spiritual and faithful woman of God. ❤️

Daily Devotional - Shawn

A small crew of men went on a mission to a disciple’s house to aid in home improvements.

Evelyn is a disciple from the church in Tegucigalpa. She started going because of her brother Enrique, who got sick and was baptized, and she started to go. Enrique later died. And last year, Evelyn had an accident here in this house because it needed many repairs. We are covering the space between the walls and the roof to keep animals from getting inside. Rain is coming through the holes in the roof, so we filled those holes with special caulking.  Seeing her in this distress broke our hearts, and we could have spent a few more days there on needed repairs.

That night, we had an outdoor dinner with our Tegucigalpa family at El Picacho, a beautiful park overlooking the city. There is a huge Jesus statue at the park as well. We had some delicious tacos, fun fellowship, music, dancing, and beautiful views. A great time was had by all. Early tomorrow morning, we leave the Honduras mainland and head to the island of Roatán for the third and final leg of our journey.
