We returned to ALF to prepare for the STEM career fair and a soccer tournament to be held the following day. Small groups also headed out to the construction site and the Agricultural Farm.
The ALF agricultural farm cultivates aromatic herbs and ornamental plants, supporting local production while helping fund Abundant Life Foundation’s educational and community programs. The PH volunteers helped with weeding around the herbs and landscaping products. Through sustainable agriculture, they generate resources that help expand opportunities for children and families across Roatán.
On the construction site, more drywall sanding was needed, as well as painting primer on the newly constructed homes. William had suggested that we help the local girl who was carrying large cinder blocks up the slope all by herself. With a number of volunteers, we got it done quickly.

That evening, the Project Honduras Team got all dressed up and walked down the beach to the Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort and Spa, where the Abundant Life Foundation’s An Evening Of Purpose was in full swing. I was great to see donors from all over the world, give generously to such a great cause.
